Over the past five days, we witnessed an exceptionally well-organized Fujairah 2025 World Taekwondo Cadet Championship
Following the matches via YouTube live streams, I can honestly say – I was more than impressed!
The best young taekwondo athletes from all over the world gathered in Fujairah, showcasing top-level techniques, incredible fighting spirit, true sportsmanship, and fair play. Their dedication, emotions, and will to give their best proved that taekwondo has a bright and strong future ahead.
We are certain that many of the names we saw stepping onto the world stage for the first time will be in the finals of major international competitions and at the Olympic Games in just a few years. These matches were not only about medals, but about gaining the experience that builds tomorrow’s champions.

The organization of the Fujairah 2025 World Taekwondo Cadet Championship was impressive – from athlete reception and technical execution to the thoughtfully designed medal ceremonies. The visual presentation and media coverage that reached global audiences were truly top-notch.
As with any major event, officiating is always a challenge, but overall, the impression is that the matches were judged consistently and professionally, with clear respect for the rules and the athletes.
See you in Athens in 2027.
